Damon Davis
Damon Davis is an artist, musician and filmmaker with roots in St. Louis, Missouri. Davis’ wide-ranging artistic work explores social justice issues, inequality and systemic oppression both at home and abroad. His All Hands On Deck project — a poignant series of photographs of the hands of politically active Missourians were brought from the streets to fine art by Wildwood Press. Davis’ work explores themes of social justice, police brutality and inequality in America following the murder of Michael Brown by police in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014. All Hands On Deck highlights the importance of collective action as a whole. He has exhibited his work across America.
