Josely Carvalho

Multimedia artist Josely Carvalho was born in Brazil and works out of both Rio de Janeiro and New York City. Carvalho is versed in both visual art and architecture, and her work is as diverse as her background. Her works examine themes such as human identity, history and social justice through the lens of an architect. She is represented and has exhibited her work in venues such as New York’s Museum of Modern Art and Art in General and Brazil’s São Paulo Museum of Art.
